In a statement on the office's website, officials added that 837 children have been injured, but noted that the figure may be higher since information from areas occupied by Russian forces is still being verified, writes Sky News, broadcast Klankosova.tv.

“1274 children were affected in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression”, their statement said.

Meanwhile, the United Nations has said that at least 16 thousand and 295 civilians have been killed since the beginning of the war, but Russia has denied targeting civilians.
