Ukraine's ambassador to Belgrade: Hard to explain to citizens why we know Kosovo

Tolkac has reiterated the unchanged stance for not recognising Kosovo's independence, has added that it has already become very difficult to explain to Ukrainian citizens why Kiev is not recognising the independence of the Republic of Kosovo when official Pristina is already supporting Ukraine everywhere in dealing with Russia's unprecedented aggression.

“We consistently adhere to the principle of Serbia's territorial integrity. There is no single document through which Ukraine would question Serbia's territorial integrity. Ukraine's current co-operation with Kosovo is at a much lower level than Russia's. Russia has opened an office in Kosovo, but Ukraine is not”, Tolic has said.
