“These weapons will significantly strengthen the Ukrainian army and make our sky safer”, he said in a Twitter post on November 7th.
Reznikov did not specify which countries the systems came from, but he thanked Ukrainian partners, where he mentioned Norway, Spain, and the United States of America.
The US by mid-October has donated 20 high-speed missile systems known as HIMARS to Ukraine and has promised to send 18 more.
The Pentagon, it said, on October 14th, would send the first two advanced land-air missile systems. NASAMS in the following weeks.
Even NATO had declared, on October 18th, that it would send to Ukraine air defence systems.
This type of gun, Kiev had asked for it since early this year.
NASAMS provides medium-range and long-range protection against Russian missile attacks.
