The war in Ukraine is already heading toward its tenth month. Russia has gained ground and sometimes had to release it again. War, in addition to certain <x0incidents” isolated, has developed completely on Ukrainian soil. Exception made the rocket in Poland, originally attributed to Russia, although it was later confirmed as part of the Ukrainian defence system.
With increasing tension between Russia and NATO countries -- one of the allies, Norway -- has increasingly monitored the flight of drones on its territory. Norwegian authorities arrested at least four people for illegal flight of drones over their territory, or photographing areas in sensitive locations (such as oil platforms or military bases).
“We estimate that the risk of sabotaging against Norway is more real now than before the war”, Hedvid Moe, deputy director of the Norwegian Security Police (PST), explained at the time.
“In recent months, we have seen a clear increase in fears activity around oil, gas and critical infrastructure”, he added.
Regarding these alleged arrests, the Kremlin today has summoned Norwegian Ambassador to Moscow Robert Kvile. As correctly by the Russian Foreign Ministry in a statement, the Norwegian ambassador has been told that decisions made by Scandinavian authorities are unacceptable. These arrests, reports the Russian agency TASS, “are politically motivated and violates the principles of justice and impartiality”.
Therefore, they conclude, Russian authorities have demanded that the end be what they consider the persecution of Russian citizens, especially after the start of the war.
It looks like we'll all face a severe winter. However, winter will be much tougher for Ukrainians with “the ongoing <x2nd> bombings and irregular power and water supply”, said Lithuanian diplomacy head Gabrielius Landsbergis.
