The survivor of sexual violence issues the hall while Dachic was speaking

At the International Ministerial Conference for Prevention of Sex Violence in War, Serbia's Foreign Affairs Minister bore no responsibility for crimes committed by Serbia in Kosovo. Slovenia claims for Kosovo that it failed during yesterday to hear Dacic's speech, since it was not feeling well.

She is attending this London-organised conference yesterday and today, invited to survive the sex violence of the recent war in Kosovo.

I am invited as a survivor of the Kosovo war. So yesterday on the panel I saw Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic and left the hall. Because I felt uncomfortable and well. So the team has dealt with this issue and I hope we don't have any other situation”, she declares for Kosovo Press.

Tahiri Sullivan hopes that survivors will no longer face responsibility for these crimes.

I had proposed that other times be more vigilant and be more sure how survivors and the presence of these are not pleasant, so I hope there will be no such incident”, she adds.

Also taking part in this conference is the director of the Kosovar Centre for the rehabilitation of Torture Survivors Feride Rushiti. She claims that Daciq in his speech tended to carry “things before students”.

“During discussions on the front panels during the day, the minister of foreign affairs of Serbia was present, who did not say anything else. It is well known that Serbia has not yet accepted, has not made an apology, nor has it claimed any responsibility in dealing with war crimes. His meeting was more of a meeting on the panel in which he attended held lectures like before students. Saying that Serbia must work on prevention, educate young people and share its experiences. Currently part of that forum were survivors of the sexual violence from the Balkans, including Sjete Tahiri Sullivan, but also from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia”, it claims.

Serbia's Foreign Minister Rushiti's speech adds that it has irritated almost all in attendance.

His pride irritated and made survivors of sexual violence, but so did those of us who were not feeling well. For the fact that Serbia as a state, but also Minister Dacic himself is a person who, in contrast, has consistently been involved in Milosevic's regime. His speech of communication has repeatedly sown hatred and intolerance in the past. Never accept the facts and painful truth of Kosovo. For one thing, it led many survivors who have been present at that session to release the conference, then the reactions of nongovernmental organisations, and where it also culminated with the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Donika Gervalla”, Rushiti adds to Kosova Prees.

During yesterday's day, Kosovo Foreign Affairs Minister Donika Grovala has reacted to Dacic's presence at this conference. She has declared the same is one of the perpetrators, like the right hand of dictator Slobodan Milosevic.
