Osmani has today appointed 27 new members of the Consultative Council for Communities.
Their appointment is said to be the result of a nomination process within each community and at the end of their appointment with a two-year term.
The KKK consists of twenty-seven members, representatives of all Kosovo communities, as defined by the Law for Protection and Promoting the Rights of Communities and Members of Tyre in the Republic of Kosovo.
The composition of this council is:
two representatives of the Roma, Egyptian, Goran, Ashkali, Montenegrin, and Croatian community
three representatives of the Bosniak and Turkish communities,
Five representatives of the Serb community,
a high representative of the President's Office;
three senior Government representatives, appointed by the ministry or agency, whose scope is of particular importance to communities.
The Consultative Council for Communities aims to ensure the mechanism for exchange of thoughts between communities and institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
