Among other things in this interview, Spanish journalist Kurti has challenged with the question of uniting Kosovo and Albania, which Kurti has been away for years.

Kurti has avoided saying that Kosovo and Albania are two nations, but two states that speak the same language and have the same origin.
It has also added further that Albania is in NATO and that Kosovo also wants to join since the Albanian common enemy nation has Serbia having strong ties with Russia.
For more than a century, we have a problem with Serbia, and we have it as a whole as an Albanian nation. Kosovo and Albania are two different nations, but two different states, with the same language and the same culture and origin... and Albania is in NATO, we want to join also: We are in constant danger due to Serbia's strong ties to Russia”, Kurti has said.
