As a result of this created situation, many former police officers who for various reasons gave up this profession are volunteering to return to state uniform.
Among them is Isuf Brahimi, former police office from Mitrovica.
Brahimi through a Facebook post has extended a public invitation to President Vjosa Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Interior Minister Jelal Svechla and KP director Fehmi Hoti to enable his return to Kosovo Police.
“due to the situation created in the institutions of the Kosovo Police, by Serbian officials who boycotted the job, I ask the leaders of our responsible institutions to enable us to return to the Kosovo Police to make our contribution where I served for many years!” wrote Brahim.
