“To Kherson's direction, the Russian military units' movement on the left bank of the Dnipro River was completed this morning”, the ministry said in its official telegram channel.
No single piece of military equipment or weapons was left behind”, the statement said, referring to the western side of the river. “All Russian military personnel have moved to the left coast of Dnepros”, she added.
Images and videos on social networks on Friday showed that the Antonivsky Bridge, the main channel over the Dnipro River in the Kherson region, had been destroyed.
An image that circulated Friday showed a Ukrainian flag in downtown Kherson, though there is no suggestion that the Ukrainian army is still in that city.
