It seems that the US and Russia have independently agreed that the missile that fell into a Polish village Tuesday, where two people were killed, was part of Ukraine's air defence aimed at countering a Russian missile attack on Ukraine.
The Russian Defence Ministry said Tuesday it had targeted nothing within the 35km scope of the Ukraine-Polon border.
“Declarations from various Ukrainian sources and foreign officials about claims on the Russian “racles --” that fell over the village of Przewow -- are a deliberate provocation aimed at exclusting the” situation, said the Russian Ministry's announcement, reported by the Tass agency.
The Russian ministry claimed to have identified the remains of an S-300 Ukrainian photographer.
In a split development, US President Joe Biden -- who earlier claimed it is least possible that the missile came from Russia -- has told NATO allies that the missile was Ukrainian missile defence, according to a NATO source that has talked about the Reuters news agency. /Periscopi/
