Rome's president, Dan Friedkin, reportedly wants to continue co-operating with Jose Mourinho.
By “La Gazzetta dello Sport”, the Italian club is already preparing a new contract for Portuguese.
The new contract envisions Hourinho being linked to Rome until the summer of 2025.
The 59-year-old reportedly wants to have guarantees to strengthen the team even more before deciding to renew the contract.
However, this is not seen as a problem because Friedkin is believed to be willing to invest in the team in next year's passing summer term.
Mourinho's current contract with the club from Italy's capital expires on June 30th, 2024.
“Special One” is the Roman coach from July 2021. That last season led Rome to triumph in the League of Conference.
