Rizvanolli: Next year we subsidize isolation and windows

She said the plan is that over the next year 30m euros to invest in energy efficiency in new programmes

We will start with more energy efficiency schemes, including thermosolations, isolation of the doors and windows since next year, but also effective heating equipment as we have done this year. The plan is that during the next year 30m euros at least to invest in energy efficiency in new programmes, I mean, besides existing programmes that are tens of millions in public building efficiency programmes”, Rizvanolli said.

In addition, Rizvanelli said they are working on designing this measure.

“We as the economy minister in co-operation with the Efficiency Fund, but also the Energy Efficiency Agency and all other partners, but also the International Organizations working in Kosovo, are working on designing this measure”, she said.

It has talked about subsidising the energy efficiency of citizens.

She said that in the second call, besides the criteria they have been, there are some changes.

Not everyone has taken advantage of the right, which means we can reopen the call and benefit a greater number than they have earned so far. Now in the second call in addition to the criteria that have been and the categories that have been, there are the following changes, in accordance with citizens' demands. As far as citizens in the social scheme are concerned, subsidies for inventory have increased from 40 percent of the maximum value to 400 euros, to 60 percent of the value or not more than 550 euros”.

She said they are in constant communication with municipalities and social centres.

For individual emissions and invasive climates, these categories will be allowed to apply and subsidize. We are also in communication with municipalities and social centres so that social work centres see opportunities to provide support to citizens during application on the e-Kosovo platform. For self-preservative mothers, we have also provided a higher subsidy for individual emissions of up to 90 percent of the investment value no more than 560 euros”, Rizvanolli said.
