Ramadan the false news by Tome Gashi: What happened to you?

So wrote sociologist Shkodran Ramadani after the lawyer close to Vetevendosje Movement, Tom Gashi, distributed a false statement attributed to the US ambassador to Pristina, Jeff Hovenier.

This Gashi post became a form of fierce debate, which was also told that “Tome Gashi has destroyed his career by distributing a false story to himself.

In this regard, Ramadan's reaction says such a conclusion is wrong.

Shkodran Ramadani's full response:

They're saying that the “Tome Gashi has ruined his career by spreading a false story”.

What a wrong conspiracy.

When his service career as a judge in Milosevic's regime hasn't destroyed him, I don't believe a distribution of a false story does that.

After all, Tome Gashi has long authored some of the most serious scandals on a daily basis, from domestic violence, the kick of beggars and people in need, to the most indisposed lying in the media to protect his master, Albin Kurt.

So I don't expect his career to end. At least, not in a society where you win 51% of the vote through falsehood and fraud.

Under such circumstances, the spreading of false news and brutal attacks on truth are rewarded with power and prestige and are not punished with career loss.

Not in a society where a decade you are Milosevic's judge, and the next decade, adviser to the KLA Political Director.

In a society like that, lying is not Kurdicah. It's a priority.

And so each of those who promoted him should be ashamed, but rather Hashim Thaci, who by abusing the authority gained in war and depending on immediate interests, arbitrarily gave themselves the mandate to appoint advisers like this and rehabilitate even the worst fossils from the violent past.
