Kosovo University Clinical Centre surgeons have come up with a sharp response to President Vjosa Osmani, who chose a private institution to conduct an operation.
In a response signed by 18 surgeons, their indignation has been expressed about the public institution's bypass, in this case the Abdominal Surgery Clinic at QKUKU, by President Osmani.
“Based on the current Kosovo College of Surgery situation reacts to the bypass of the president of the Republic of Kosovo. Vjosa Osmani, who has taken over this institution by not seeking health care in our institution, but without consulting at all with leading personnel, has received health treatment outside USKKUK”, it says in that response.
The surgeons have now declared that the operation to remove the lesions is a routine procedure conducted in the Abdominal Surgery Clinic since 1999 with a percentage of success 99.9 percent.
“The disregard and humiliation the president has made to the surgeons' college, and in particular the institution he leads on is unacceptable to all”, says the newspaper Shneta.
All in the end, surgeons have wished President Osmani quick recovery, demanding that public sector not be overlooked in the future.
President Vjosa Osmani last night conducted an intervention for the removal of the temth (disposition) at the private hospital “Aloka” in Pristina.
