Prosecutor's Association after the salary is cut: We'll prosecute Government

This association supports the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council's decision taken yesterday at its extraordinary meeting for the reduction of prosecutorial affairs only with essential services, for suspending all forms of co-operation with representatives of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as other actions envisioning the KPK's” decision, the Association's announcement said.

They have warned that they will contest the government's decision through legal ways.

The Kosovo Prosecutors' Association announces public opinion that, in co-ordination with the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, concrete action will be taken for opposing the Government of the Republic of Kosovo's decision to cut prosecutors' salaries through legal ways and judicial bodies”, the report said.

This association has warned that it will also consider possible violations of the Government's Penal Code provisions.
