The request submitted last night by US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Hovenier has been accepted by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who has said he is happy to work with the US and the EU to find a solution over the next two days.
The fine stage on the basis of the Kosovo Government's recent decision was set to start from November 21st, but had been postponed for a day later, due to Kurti's visit to Brussels on Sunday, for an emergency “48x1> that had invited EU High Representative Josep Borrell to Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.
Under that decision, from November 1st to November 21st, the measure will be the one to blame, from November 21st for two months until January 21st, will be the penalty measure, and later on January 21st, we will have prov plates for another three months until April 21st.
More plates in the Republic of Kosovo cannot be allowed by April 21st.
