Proposed by this bill, MP Ganimet Musliu said this bill improves police life.
She said four types of pensions have been proposed by this bill.
In light of the circumstances facing Kosovo police, I think we need such a law. The bill proposes legal regulation of recognition of the pension law for Kosovo police officials and employees for the Kosovo Police Inspectorate. Through it will be regulated types of pensions, pension categories”.
This bill has proposed four types of pensions, regular retirement, disability, family and volunteers. Today this process is beginning, expecting experts to give their recommendations, to enable the Kosovo police a dignified pension”, she said.
VV deputy Enver Dugolli said they will not support this law. He charged The PDK and LDK have so far failed to make this law, and according to him, this law is the Government's duty to propose.
The PDK's <x0).
The “Deputes from PDK and LDK have been able to do this law but have not. It's our time to do it because it's not an early retirement game. We are no longer in the electoral fields of iú church praying that such initiatives are more serious. We never said we couldn't do it. We will not participate in this initiative because I think it's not serious”, he said.
MP Rasit Celaj's PDK said VV deputy Enver Dugolli's opposition is not appropriate, according to him the purpose of the proposal has not been for the PDK to take credit if a solution is found for police.
He said they would also accept the government's proposal and will vote on it only for members of police to have a dignified pension, EO reports.
The Deputates don't come here to play games but propose laws. All initiatives on this committee have all voted. We're not here to play games. It's true that this law hasn't passed once, but now we've taken a initiative to send people in early retirement to get a police officer younger. Your opposition is not good for the country. It Is Not the Purpose of This Law The PDK gets the shit, let's send it to the Assembly, the goal is for the Kosovo police to have this bill. I begged you not to reconsider the case, he said.
LDK MP Anton Quinn said he will support this bill. He asked MEP Musliu whether the procedures will go into the matter, as with temporary retirement, many empty seats will remain.
I came here positively to support it and it doesn't play a role in which it was initiated. I support this bill. We're talking about a considerable contingent that has to be positioned, their release from duty is a lot of empty places, or is it supposed to be the dynamics of recruiting, what would be the cost of that?”, he said.
MP Hissen Berisha's PDK said this law must be passed. According to him, it is a good draft and should be voted.
VV MP Albanian Mehmeti-Selim said they are not against this law, but have to wait for it proposed by the government because, according to her, it is more complete.
We're pretending we're biased, but that's not true we've always supported their retirement. The important thing is not to separate us. We are for this law, but we expect this law to come from the government. We can also vote on this law, but it has to come from the government, but how sure we are how far it will be implemented on the ground”, she said.
AAK MP Beka Berisha said a consensus should be found for the police's benefit.
