Serbia's chief negotiator, Petar Petkovovic, has said the Serbian side has managed to preserve peace and stability, and that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti “ston has accepted everything he has refused in the past days”.
He made those comments November 23rd in Brussels, after reaching agreement between Kosovo and Serbia for illegal Serb license plates.
According to him, with the agreement reached, KM (Kosovo Mitrovica) billboards that, according to him, would be able to use Serbs in northern Kosovo and would not be fined for something like that.
“They will continue to be in use as yet. That means, among other things, that absolutely all owners of cars that have KM license plates will be able to register their vehicles normally and extend the validity of KM license plates. The only place we're going to stop, we're going to stop with the release of a whole new KM physical license plate until we find a final solution for the plates. But, anyway, new KM license plates have not been issued in the last three years, Petkovic said.
Kosovo and Serbia Under Intermediation of the European Union on 23 November have reached agreement on Serbian illegal plates.
