Polish government spokesman Piotr Mueller did not immediately confirm the information by a senior American intelligence official, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitive nature of the situation. Polish media reported that two people died Tuesday afternoon after a shell hit an area where grain was being dried in Przewodów, a Polish village near the Ukrainian border.

Zelenskyy said Russia fired at least 85 rockets, most of which targeted the country's energy facilities and darkened many cities.
