Osmani: Serbia pressured to withdraw elected representatives, proved it is a source of Kosovo destabilisation

The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has reacted following the withdrawal of Serbian officials from Kosovo institutions and Kosovo police, saying it is Belgrade that is trying to destabilise and maintaining close reports with Russia. According to Osman, Serbia's actions today forced elected and appointed Serb representatives [...]
According to Osmani, Serbia's current actions forced elected and appointed representatives of Kosovo Serbs to withdraw from their positions, and according to her, the goal is to destabilise the country's north.
She said Serbia's move represents its unilateral withdrawal from Brussels' agreements to eliminate its illegal structures in Kosovo.
This action, promoted by Serbia, confirms once again what we have said many times, that Serbia is the source of the destabilisation of Kosovo and the region due to its territorial and hegemonist goals. However, Serbia will fail to change the multiethnic character of institutions and affect peace and security in the Republic of Kosovo”.
The withdrawal of ministers, MPs and members of the Serb community from the Kosovo government, the Assembly of Kosovo and the Kosovo Police is an act against democracy, rule of law and order. Such an act is done with the pressure of power in Belgrade. Such approach is causing serious problems to Serbian citizens in the north, who are feeling threatened by the action of illegal structures aimed at destabilising”, Osmani has indicated.
On the other hand, it has called on Kosovo Serbs not to fall prey to propaganda from Serbia, while adding that Kosovo institutions will take necessary steps for public security on every corner of the territory in co-operation with international partners.
The implementation of the order and law poses no threat to any Kosovo citizen, regardless of ethnic affiliation. But establishing order and law poses a danger to illegal structures designed by Belgrade aimed at destabilising Kosovo and the region”.
Kosovo is committed to peace and stability, as well as remains clearly positioned on its Euro-Atlantic path. The actions of institutions for equality of all before the law are in line with the highest standards and European values. Kosovo's future is in the EU and NATO, and no one will be able to stop this” road, Osmani has written.
But it is Belgrade who is trying to destabilise and which maintains close reports with Russia and is its tool in this part of the Balkans.
