In the brief announcement, the four leaders have reportedly stressed the country's institutions' commitment to safe environment, through law enforcement and full co-ordination with the Allied states.
“President Vjosa Osmani has held today the regular co-ordination meeting with Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca, with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Deputy Prime Minister Donika Gervalla-Schariz about recent developments in the country's north. During the meeting, commitment of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo was stressed to ensure a safe environment for all citizens of the country through implementation of the rule and law in full co-ordination with allied states and international security mechanisms in Kosovo”, the report said.
It is noteworthy that the United States and the European Union have consistently called on the Kosovo government to extend the 10 months deadline for implementing the decision on Serbian illegal plates.
This requirement has not been met so far by the Kosovo government, which has split the implementation of the decision into phases.
