They even say that health in Kosovo has never been the priority of governance in the country.
Former Health Minister and LDK deputy Andmend Zemaj has said that changing ministers has left bad taste in this sector.
According to him, Prime Minister Albin Kurti has no attention to the new framework which the day is leaving Kosovo.
There is no total responsibility in leading this sector not now, but that 20 months of this government seems to have no vision, and we have not seen a clear program of how to work and manage, but also to move away in advancing health services. Even the political part has had its shortcomings, changing weak ministers has left bad taste in this sector. We are in a state of degradation at this end of the year where patients and all citizens have difficulty coping without exception. With this approach to people without ideas, frauds have little hope of coming from this majority to someone who can lead this sector that is very important and every day confronts citizens with different demands”.
“This is the phenomenon of this irresponsible government, which even has no attention that these high-surfected quarts are leaving Kosovo. They are even offended and ignored at the time when they present their demands for dignified pay for educational conditions, while on the other hand they try to deceive the exile that we are creating conditions to return to Kosovo. The government has no licensed private health institutions”, Zemaj said.
Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP Shemsedin Dresaj stressed that the health sector cannot function without the minister's presence, adding that the prime minister should take responsibility for this.
He said it is urgent to bring the wage law so that doctors do not leave the country.
The health situation is not good and must be resolved as soon as possible. The ministry will function without the minister's presence, while the responsibilities of the prime minister, who has a lot of other duties”.
Health is problematic all over the world. Health in Kosovo has never been a priority of the country's governance, nor has this government been as low as when this government comes with 50% of the budget reduced to health and deals with certain infusions such as the 4 million-million-euro essential medicine case. Health policies should be completely changed with the law on health security. The more urgent the health and not getting away from doctors is to conduct the wage law”, Dresaj said.
