Murati: We're entering the winter without clear electricity.

Finance, Labour and Transferences Minister Iron Murati said Kosovo has faced many challenges for the past two years.

He at a joint conference with IMF Mission leader Gabriel Di Bella, on the occasion of completing the visit of IMF mission officials to Kosovo, added that we are entering the winter without much clear power shortages.

“The IMF continues to support Kosovo in the area of taxes and fiscal policy. Over the past two years, we have had some challenges, such as the pandemic, the war in Ukraine, and now we have a problem, which we are entering in a winter without having very clear power shortages”, Murati said.

“We have been trying to have addresses in priorities like Government, such as infrastructure, health and education, leading to more budget”, Murati said away.
