According to the CEC, the application deadline for this period will be completed on November 30th, 2022.

“over this period, Kosovo citizens living outside the Republic of Kosovo can apply for registration to vote via post office for extraordinary mayoral elections in these four municipalities. Also, those/those who do not have the citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo, but who have the right to be citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, under the Law of State, can apply”, the report said.

The Central Election Commission reports that on November 26th the voting application period outside Kosovo has begun for extraordinary mayoral elections in municipalities: Northern Mitrovica, Leposaviq, Zvecan and Zubin Potok. The application deadline for this period will be completed on November 30th, 2022.

During this period, Kosovo citizens living outside the Republic of Kosovo can apply for registration to vote via mail for extraordinary mayoral elections in these four municipalities. Also, those who do not have the citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo, but who have the right to be citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, under the Law on States, can apply.

All details for the census application period outside Kosovo have been published on the CEC Web site.kqz-x.org (CEC services > Services for voters > voting via mail) or on the direct website: https://kqz-x.org/Serbians-per-voting/voting-post/

The Central Election Commission encourages all citizens who live outside Kosovo and meet the relevant legal criteria for exploiting their right to register as voters outside Kosovo and then, after the census, to vote through the mail during the period, which begins on December 9th and ends with accepting ballots on December 16th.
