Mimoza Kusari-Lila's son-in-law settles at AKPM Ankes Board

Minister of Health Dafina Geja-Bunjaku's duty on 31 October has nominated the new composition of the Ankes Board at the Agency for Products and Medicines, writes the Shneta newspaper.
There are three members with a three-year mandate named by the Health Minister based on the Law on Products and Medical Equipment. Geja-Bunjak has named Melza Qorray, Shumbin Spahiun and Gzim Berisha.
Shkumbin Spahiu is husband of the deputy sister and leader of the Vetevendosje Movement Parliamentary Group Mimoza Kusari-Lila. Spahiu is also executive director of a nongovernmental organisation that also cooperates with Kusari-Lila's husband, Arben Lila.
The paper has requested clarification from Geja-Bunjak about this appointment, but the same has not returned. Neither Spahiu nor Kusari-Lila have returned the answer if the appointment is made of political influence.

The AKPM Ankes Board is a very important organ that is founded based on Article 8 of the Law on Products and Medicines. That Bord under this article is responsible for examining every complaint filed by a subject or a physical person, in terms of decisions made by the AKPPM, under this law and sub-legal acts released in accordance with this law.
Otherwise, this Bord has the competence of the AKPM's decisions regarding drugs, whether through complaints by pharmaceutical companies or individuals.
Under the decision the newspaper has seen, the Board will be compensated for their work.
This is not the first time that health institutions have taken positions of people linked to Kusari-Lila. Previously, the newspaper reported that Albert Lila former deputy candidate from the Alternative party, which is led by Mimoza- Kusari-Lila and the cousin of Kusari-Lila's husband had been elected director of the National Centre for Labour Medicine in Gjakova.
