MP Mergim Lushtaku has spoken from the PDK, who said the government does not deserve the support of this party for this bill.
According to him, the bill is not based on real economic growth, but on economic growth based on inflation.
“we generally value that the bill is not based on real economic growth, but on economic growth based on inflation. Kurti's budget lacks developmental ambition, interconnection with electoral promises, lacks the interconnection of civic requirements, as if for implementing the Law of the Salaries and the vision of where Kosovo will be at the end of 2023”, Lushtaku said.
Numerous criticisms have included the Democratic League of Kosovo, whose stance was presented by MP Besian Mustafa.
He said that with the tools that have been shared for the ministry, no problems can be solved until the end.
We've heard this government say often in the media and the Assembly that this is the biggest budget in history, but I want to remind you that this truth every year. And next year will be the biggest budget in history, because we're small and developing. This gratitude for having the largest budget in history has lasted since 99. It says that the real budget is 2.6 billion and 3.2 billion, but despite that figure when it comes to sharing this budget of ministries we have no solution to any problem. No single problem is resolved in any ministry from the start to the end, so we have an anemic split”, Mustafa said.
According to Mustafa, there is not a cent for increased power generation capacities, even though Kosovo is in energy crisis.
The Economy Ministry's “ -- not a cent for increased power generation capacities -- and Kosovo is in an energy crisis. In Health, except that we have no minister, there's not a cent for reforming and organising this vital sector. The Health Insurance Fund has the same budget as 2022, no added significance for next year. There are cuts of about 300 jobs, and the overwhelming part in education. We haven't noticed any container reform. In Infrastructure, almost no new project in 2023, just follow-up projects. The Bessie-Merdare highway has only 300 thousand euros, what you're going to do with 300 thousand euros, do you know if anybody can show”, Mustafa stated.
