Under the official visit to Stuttgart, Germany, Republic of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti met with the leaders of the Bosch companies, Datagroup SE and Zeiss.

At these meetings Prime Minister Kurti highlighted opportunities for investment and favourable environment in Kosovo, geographic position and institutional stability. It singled out economic growth, low public debt, and talented new population, as well as stable fiscal policy.

He said the influence of political stability is also noted in Foreign Direct Investments, which grew by 22%, while with the government's ambitious legislative agenda, we expect further growth in the near future.

Government support for the development and growth of the information technology industry in the country through a comprehensive digital agenda was highlighted by Prime Minister Kurti at the meeting with Andreas Baressel, chief executive chief of information technology company Datagroup to SE.

The arrival of major global companies like Bosch in Kosovo would help the local sector increase labour standards, quality and competition within sectors, it said at the meeting with Mrs. Tanja Rückert of Bosch Company. The Government's initiative to close the skills gap through dual education was discussed.

While during the visit to Zeiss and meeting with company management Dr. Dr. Marc Weatherla was stressed that with our new population, Kosovo is a favourable location for supporting existing supply chains, as well as a new alternative to investment in education, especially digital education.

The Government of the Republic of Kosovo's intention to improve the possibilities and quality of life for our young people was highlighted at these meetings, through facilitating doing business in Kosovo and supporting investors.
