Kurti calls on Serbs: Don't abandon institutions, you have to work with us

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has continued to insist that Serbs withdrew from Kosovo institutions following pressure from Belgrade, as he rejected the Franco-German plan. Kurti said news of this was delivered by Serbia's Foreign Minister, who was criminal spokesman Slobodan Milosevic.
“This situation has been created because Belgrade rejects the Franco-German proposal, and this drama has been created to cover rejection. They have discussed this proposal at the Security Council meeting in Belgrade, and he has been unanimously rejected. So, all Security Council members in Serbia voted against the proposal. And the announcement was made by Serbia's foreign minister, who in the past was Milosevic's spokesman. He said they had rejected the Franco-German proposal and later invented this collective resignation from our institutions -- of Serbian policemen, judges and prosecutors”, he said in an interview for DW.
Kurti again urged Serbs not to abandon institutions.
I have called on them not to resign because institutions are not mine. Institutions belong to people and the state and they serve us all. And I, as prime minister, am the prime minister. I serve all people despite ethnicity, despite national identity. And that's why I call again on them not to abandon institutions, not to leave them, not to resign. They have to work together. This situation has created some sort of vacuum, but we're doing our best so that public services can be there for people and no one can suffer from those resignations, Kurti said.
