As for the situation in the north, Krasniqi said it is the government's duty to address this situation, as well as to co-ordinate with international allies, in particular with the US.
For the PDK chairman, it is unforgivable if all progress that has been “reached into the integration of the Serb community into institutions, including the judiciary police, is undone so quickly”.
I don't really think that's the Franco-German plan, so it's the sequence of speculation that has been circulated for weeks now. Developments in the north are disturbing and from what we are seeing have a potential to scale away. These actions have had to be thought into a sequence that leads to a clear epilogue and unfortunately, that doesn't seem to have been the case this time. It is the government's duty to address this situation and co-ordinate with international partners and primarily with the US to restore public order and sovereignty. It would be unforgivable that all the progress that has been achieved in the integration of the Serb community into institutions, including the judiciary police, should be undone so quickly” he told EO.
Krasniqi said the government should take the US council seriously, and that this issue is urgent to preserve sovereignty in the northern part.
I believe that the government should deal seriously with these developments and take US advice based and offer solutions that preserve sovereignty in the northern part of the country. I already don't see any discussion but the situation in the north and I think it's the emergency we have ahead of us. Find ways of co-operation that preserve sovereignty”, Krasniqi said.
He urged the Government to address the situation with the utmost seriousness of finding a solution, so that there is no deterioration in the north.
I have declared that the government does not have a plan, and that is an additional reason, and it invites the government to address this situation with the greatest seriousness and focus on finding solutions that do not endanger the deteriorating situation in the north. I haven't received information and can't say whether the government has an agreement with this situation, but it is the government's duty to maintain public order”, said the first PDK, Memli Krasniqi.
