Krasniqi, in an interview for KosovoPress, says this plan creates a new reality that enables Kosovo to move forward from the existing status quo.
The elements of the plan have been told and communicated at other earlier meetings with international friends. Normally it is such a plan as difficult to accept the aprior, but it is a basis which creates an opportunity to negotiate and discuss. It creates an opportunity, perhaps a new reality, that enables Kosovo to move forward from the existing status quo. So it cannot be said that it is easy to accept as such, but since there is no approach to obtaining or permission, we need both state and institutions to express willingness to deal seriously, discuss with international partners and attempt to reach an agreement on a text that really has the basis for the key elements of our state objectives”, he says.
Regarding developments in the north, the opposition leader says the Government and Kosovo institutions are in their right when they seek to implement legitimate and constitutional decisions.
However, he adds that in such cases the costs and benefits of those decisions must be taken into account.
According to him, the cost of the illegal license decision is greater than its benefits. In that form, he says the whole process of integration of the Serb community in the north is being served.
