The first qualifying phase for the World Handballers Championship, held next year in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, has ended on Sunday.
The nine national teams are scheduled to play in the second phase. For the first time in the second phase will be Kosovo's National Party, following the historic success achieved in matches against the Faroe Islands.
The tournament for the second phase will be withdrawn on 19 November in Ljubljana.
Kosovo in its second phase has joined Austria, Slovakia, Iceland, Turkey, Italy, Ukraine, Portugal and Greece. These nine nationals, as well as Chekhia, will play in the second phase with ten national teams currently being presented at Euro22. The winners will go to the World.
So Kosovo has only one obstacle before the World. Its transition would be remarkable success. Second stage matches take place in the spring.
