The two agreements have to do with establishing a bilateral co-operation between the parties in the field of the petentian system and facilitating the co-operation of institutions in the area of monitoring the execution of alternative sentences and parole.
Haxhiu said the need for extending co-operation between Kosovo and Albania has come as request from citizens of both countries.
The need for this extension of co-operation has come as demand and the interest of citizens of both countries. Therefore, expanding and deepening this co-operation, through signing these agreements, contributes to our interest, as it serves their interest”, Haxhi said.

Today, on the eve of the November 28th note, Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu, and her counterpart, Albania's Justice Minister Uly Manja, signed two new agreements from both countries' justice fields.
The signing of these agreements: (1) “Agreement for the establishment of a bilateral co-operation between the parties in the field of the petentian system” and (2) “Agreement on facilitating the co-operation of institutions in the field of monitoring the execution of alternative sentences and parole of” is made after the pledge made to the signing of the same ministers from Haxhiu and Manja at the 8th Joint Meeting of the Two Governments, which is further manifested in the symbolic co-operation of inter-ordination of the inter-national brothership between Kosovo and the Republic of Albania.
The need for this extension of co-operation has come as the demand and interest of the citizens of both our countries. Therefore, expanding and deepening this cooperation by signing these agreements contributes to our interest, serving their interest.
