This resolution is not LDK, The PDK, AAK, VV and neither of the Multiethnic Group, despite our proposals. This resolution is to treat a whole subject that has become a U. NACIONAL RERGENCY. And no, it can't be done with proposals of “that look good on paper and are non-compliable and, much less, when opposed to the European Convention on Human Rights”, it wrote.
“I have very important to explain again that this resolution has preceded many meetings with victims of these acts, lawyers, policemen, judges, prosecutors, civil society and we have also arranged a table on this topic”, she added.
We've tried with all of our being to protect our proposals from face-to-face, but to be applicable and feasible proposals for our institutions, for our people, for protecting the dignity of the victims.
Otherwise, the draft resolution proposed by Democratic League of Kosovo MP Doarsa Kica-Geli backed by five other LDK deputies has not passed against attacks on sexual integrity. The result, which is supported by the opposition, has received 26 votes, 1 MP has voted against and 34 have abstained.
