KFOR General in the evening hours has met with Kosovo Minister of Internal Affairs Jalal Svecla to discuss the current situation in Kosovo, and tensions over the outcome of the talks on the license issue.

Major General Riztuccia said he will remain in close contact with all key co-talkers, including the EU Mission for Rule of Law (EULEX), representatives of institutions in Kosovo and Kosovo security organisations, as well as the chief of the Armed Forces of Serbia.
“KFOR remains vigilant and continues to implement its UN mandate, with all its capacities available, for a safe environment and for freedom of movement for all Kosovo people, according to UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999. The goal of the NATO-led KFOR mission is peace and security in Kosovo”, the KFOR communique said.
