Within the campaign's 16-day Activism Against Gender Base Violence, KESCO's KESS are organising a series of activities and installations within building space, using orange color as a global symbol of this campaign.
In addition to conscious messages, a banner has been placed before the entrance of the building, where our employees and consumers are invited to write their messages against violence. This time the campaign will be much more comprehensive, since this month KESCO has even distributed anti-violence message bills.
For this, KEDS and KESCO have joined the call from the Ministry of Justice to place the awareness message: “Break the silence, report violence” to consumer bills this month.
This world campaign begins today on November 25th, on the International Day of Elimination of Violence on Women as it ends on December 10th, on International Human Rights Day, and these dates are selected to remember that women's rights are human rights and that they must be promoted and protected by all society.
All of us, as a society, must contribute to addressing and eliminating discrimination and end this phenomenon.
KEDS and KESCO organise different activities each year during the global campaign against gender-based violence and are continued women's rights promoters, including signatories of the 7 principles of “U n N Women” for achieving gender equality at the workplace.
