Parliamentary Investigative Commission Chairman concerning the decision-making process in the energy sector for the period 2006-2022, at the legislative, executive, regulatory and public enterprise level, Hajdar Beqa stressed that KED and KESCO witnesses have given an excuse to the administration that today they will not be present in the Commission.
MP Beqa stressed that without their testimony there can be no full investigative report, and added that they will see the possibilities for their interview to take place before the commission's mandate ends.
“They have given a reason through administration that cannot be present today, and today no interview of KEDS and KESCO representatives will be held. Therefore, we will look at legal ways through the commission to ensure that the commission's mandate to have their testimony completed, because without their testimony we cannot have a full reward”, he said.
At the request of President Beqa, the meeting has continued without quorum and without media on other issues, as he said, technical.
