He indicated in detail the crimes Slobodan Milosevic's regime was committing in Kosovo.

Shea, was convinced that only through a military intervention would the Balkan cassava” be delivered.

Military affairs expert continues to follow political developments in Kosovo with great interest.

He has suggested to Prime Minister Albin Kurti that he listen to international friends and postpone the decision to license because of the tense situation.

We all agree at that point that every state has the right to decide for car plates. That's what the international community is saying. But I think that right now, Prime Minister Kurti would be wise to postpone the decision on the license plates for 10 months. It would be good to have within this period, the Government of Kosovo conduct an informational campaign for Serbian citizens living in northern Kosovo”, he said Tv1.

Former spokeswoman NATO, it says there will be no war in Kosovo, despite some of the politicians using promotional rhetoric for conflict.

According to him, there will never be a return in 1999.

It is true that there are tensions, but there will be no war in Kosovo. There are over 6,000 KFOR troops, and Serbia well knows that any act of aggression against Kosovo would have consequences for it. Of course, the international community will not allow a return in 1999. Politicians may speak different things, but the situation will not go to the point of having an armed conflict”, he said.

Shea, says the time has come for Kosovo to implement the Commission for the Association of Serb Majorities, while Serbia is to recognise Kosovo's independence and de jure, not partially.

He says convinced that this association will not jeopardise Kosovo's sovereignty.

“I hope that as soon as Kosovo starts with implementing the Serbian majority municipalities' agreement, because signed agreements must be respected. You have to understand well that association does not endanger Kosovo's sovereignty, there are many such models in European countries, and there is no threat to sovereignty. But on the other hand, Serbia must also realize that the time has come for compromise. Serbia should recognise Kosovo's independence, not in part recognition, but recognition de actualo and de jure of Kosovo independence”, he added.

Jamie Shea says the time has come for Serbia as well to determine whether to line up with democratic states or with authoritarian regimes.
