Gratter said an interview for the “wild mushka” show, that the Albanian mafia has been enriched in Albania due to high corruption.
“Today, there are three mafias, it is Ndragheta, is the Albanian mafia, which is no longer the one of villa robberies, the Albanian mafia is highly structured, which has been enriched in its country due to frightening corruption, and then is the third generation mafia of South Africans”, he said.
Grater had earlier raised the alarm for the momentum the Albanian mafia is taking to Europe in control of cocaine trafficking from Latin American countries.
The prosecutor stressed that thanks to major corruption in Albania it is easy to compromise even public officials.
