LDK MP Avdullah Hoti has criticised Government over informing the public of the German franc proposal,
He said the formal debate on dialogue should be brought to the “Parliament to ensure transparency for this important process and to build political consensus”.
If the government estimates that this proposal is a good basis for moving more easily towards the full normalisation of relations between the two states and mutual recognition, the Assembly and the public would have to be informed in order to ensure political and social consensus. Furthermore, informing the Assembly is not in the government's discretion, but it is the Government's constitutional duty to the Parliament regardless of how the Government thinks about this” proposal, he wrote on Facebook.

So far we have seen zero transparency from the government towards the Kosovo Assembly, as well as the public in general, for the Franco-German proposal.
If the government estimates that this proposal is a good basis for moving more easily towards the full normalisation of relations between the two states and mutual recognition, the Assembly and the public would have to be informed in order to ensure political and social consensus. Furthermore, informing the Assembly is not in the government's discretion, but it is the Government's constitutional duty to the Parliament regardless of how the Government feels about this proposal.
It is imperative that formal debate between political dialogue forces take place in the Assembly. That is the only (1) transparency is provided to the public, (2) the constitutional obligation for reporting is fulfilled, and (3) political and social consensus is built.
Never has Kosovo been more supportive of dialogue than it is now. This circumstance must be used to move forward
