Haradinaj says that even though he had fought for Kosovo's freedom and freedom, on November 17th 2004, he was invited for the first time by The Hague to follow suit until November 29, 2012.
Haradinaj says the fight for his innocence has lasted as long as the war for freedom, until he has thanked all those who have supported him and believed in his innocence.
Full response:
Dear citizens, today is an important date for me, it is the anniversary of my freedom, but also of the sealing of the purity of our liberation war.
Even though a deliverer, a freedom fighter on my land, on November 17, 2004, I was invited for the first time to interview The Hague tribunal. From that day until November 29, 2012, it has extended legal prosecution against me. Although I was released in my first act as innocent, after several years I was invited to retrial for a second time.
Finally, 10 years ago, I took the stand for innocence. The fight for my innocence lasted as long as the freedom struggle lasted.
I thank everyone who didn't lose faith in me and my innocence, and they're there in every way.
