Government Changes Salaries of Judges, Prosecutors

At the Government meeting, the decision to change and fulfill the Haradinaj former government's decision to raise the salaries of judges and prosecutors was adopted.

The government has abolished several provisions of former government decision Haradinaj, which was in conflict with the Kosovo Constitution.

“... with this salary of judges and prosecutors returns to the previous judicial regulation prior to the fact that the 2017 decision was made to raise government cabinet salaries”, Prime Minister Kurti said.

The salaries of all judges and prosecutors had increased by 100 percent in 2017.

The salaries of judges and prosecutors, with the Kosovo government's decision, have been returned to the same level before the Haradinaj government's decision.
