A year from Glodjan's tragedy continues the mystery of triple murder

A week ago, the Peja Prosecutor's Office said they were in the intensive phase of investigative action, but that they could not provide details not to violate investigations.

The mystery continues to accompany the tragedy of Glodjan, one of the most secular killings ever committed in Kosovo.

Not now, when it's been a year since that day, it's not exactly who fired bullets from the Kalashnikov to the bus driver and two students, nor what were the motives. At least publicly, such information has never been provided.

A week ago, the Péja Foundation Prosecutor told Gazette Express that they are in intensive stages of investigative action, but that they can't provide more information not to violate the investigative process.

Suspects are four people, family members. One of them had been replaced by house arrest.

The same has now been interrupted with the prosecutor's proposal, to replace with the measure of ban to approach the country/person.

News of the Journal Express has confirmed the spokeswoman for the Pec Foundation Court, Tringa Zhuti.

"In terms of your question posed by you, we announce that to M. M, with the prosecutor's proposal, house arrest measures and the same house arrest measure have been replaced by the measure of ban to approach the country or person”, Zuti has declared.

What had happened?

The triple murder took place on November 26, last year, just before 7:00. That night, the bus carrying students from Gjakova to Decan was attacked by Kalashnikov. The bus driver and two students were killed.

Initially, it was talked about terrorist attacks, but police reported that there is no reason to believe the attack could have such motives.

Two days after the tragic case, the Government of Kosovo, along with the Police, had announced that they would offer a reward of 20,000 euros to anyone providing information that allows for the arrest of Decan's author or perpetrators.

The next day, the Department of Serious Crime at the Founding Prosecutorship in Pec said that he had provided some information that could lead to the dawn of the case.

“We have some indicators that we're tracking and we're moving forward to prove. Some circumstances tell us it's not going to be easy, but I'm optimistic we're going to do it”, he said about REL, the prosecutor of the case, Sahide Gashi.

On December 11, 2021, Pec's Constitutional Prosecutor, exactly Chief Prosecutor Agim Kurmeha, went to the media conference and announced that three suspects have been arrested in the case.

Another suspect in the case was arrested in February this year, which according to media reports, is familiar to three people who had been arrested earlier.

No official statements have yet been issued for the motive, but in the media it has been repeatedly referred to as the suicide investigation track of a young man three years ago that someone blamed the bus driver for.

What she had committed to suicide was the suspect's daughter-in-law for the bus attack.
