Abraham has said he is very concerned and frustrated with what is happening in Kosovo.
Kosovo has absolutely the right to rule for laws within its territory, and this applies to the issue of license plates. The problem is not at the license plates, but at the European Union, which has no clear idea of Kosovo's European future. So when there is a concrete strategy on what to do with Kosovo, then problems arise such as the issue of license plates”, Abraham said, to tv1.
As for the Franco-German proposal, the opposition MP says Kosovo should be guaranteed European prospects.
“In the Franco-German proposal it is fun to guarantee Kosovo that in the future it will become part of the European Union. If this issue is not included in the package, then this proposal is not the right one for Kosovo. I repeat, the problem is that a clear perspective by the EU for Kosovo is missing, he added.
German politician also spoke of the issue of visa liberalisation for Kosovo.
He announced that Germany is actively working on this process to be completed successfully.
I assure you, Germany is working hard to become visa liberalisation for Kosovo. We are in close contact with the Czech Presidency, and I see that there is a positive will for this issue to end successfully. It is unacceptable how long this process has lasted for Kosovo citizens”, the German deputy said.
