Geoana through a tweet at Titter has announced that she has talked to the EU special emissar for dialogue, Kosovo-Serbia, Miroslav Lajcak.
He said Kosovo and Pristina must prevent escalation, but says KFOR is ready to intervene if stability is jeopardised.
I spoke with EU Special Representative @Miroslav Lajcak about the tense situation in northern Kosovo. Both Belgrade and Pristina must show restraint and prevent escalation. @ NATO KFOR remains alert and ready to intervene if stability is threatened”.
