So has EU spokesman Peter Stano, who at a news conference, reiterated that the situation created in Kosovo is the worst crisis since 2013.
“The EU expects progress in dialogue, escalation and constructive readiness to advance. We are in the worst crisis since 2013, and the High Representative has made clear what they expect from both sides and what we have become to help them and to give a European solution to the situation. We remain committed to welcoming both, Prime Minister Kurti and President Vuciq, in Brussels for a high meeting as soon as possible and as soon as they are willing to show European behaviour to find a European solution to their problems”.
He said it is holding a meeting between two chief negotiators and that this is an example of taking steps.
Stano was also asked if the Serbian chief negotiator has travelled to Brussels today to meet with Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislim, but he said that the Serb side should give this answer.
Stano also said that work continues until he invited both sides to be responsible for getting out of this situation.
