EU: Negotiators have accepted invitation for meeting, this is the biggest crisis over the years

European Union spokesman Peter Stano has confirmed that the two chief negotiators have responded positively to the invitation for the meeting. He has said at the media conference Wednesday that the EU expects from the two European-spirited states that, according to them, present the biggest crisis over the years between the two states. [...]
I can confirm that we have invited both the chief negotiators and can confirm that they have returned the responses will come. We'll have an appointment with them. The goal is to finally find a way out of the current situation, to European spirit”, Stano has said at the media conference.
He has said that usually after there is reconciliation among the chief negotiators, meetings are followed by meetings at high levels.
Stano has named the current crisis, the largest “that has been seen over the years” in reports between Kosovo and Serbia.
The US and other international partners had asked Kosovo to postpone for 10 months the decision on punishing those carrying illegal plates issued by Serbia and refusing to convert to RKS. Serbs in the north have resigned in protest, while the issue has been discussed at the level of Kosovo and Serbia's heads of state in Brussels, but no agreement has been reached. From this meeting, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has accused EU High Representative Josep Borrell of bias.
The US has asked for an additional two days for the deal, and this has been accepted by the Kosovo government.
The situation in the north has been cited as the reason by the EU's Czech presidency to remove the visa liberalisation issue as well.
