EU helps Ukraine with 18 billion euros for institution strengthening, reconstruction

The European Union has proposed another aid package for Ukraine. The macro-financial financing package Ukraine in 2023 has a total of $18 billion proposed by the European Commission and offers “high quality and very favourable conditions for Ukraine, taking into account the country's current situation.” The funds will be disbursed through [...]
In a further expression of solidarity, the EU also proposes covering the costs of interest rates of Ukraine, through further payments targeted by member states in the EU budget.
“The EU continues to remain in solidarity with Ukraine. We propose an 18 billion-euro support package for 2023. Funding on regular installments to help short-term recovery and strengthening institutions. Preparation of the ground for a reconstruction of Ukraine that progresses on the road to the EU”, EC President Ursula von der Leyeen tweets on Twitter.
