EU Ambassador Thomas Szunyog, France's Olivier Guerot, as well as the German man Jörn Rohde, said this event should serve as a reminder of how devastating wars can be.
We must learn from the past to avoid the same mistakes and ensure a prosperous future. The note of the end of World War I in Kosovo with German Ambassador Jörn Rohde and French Prime Minister Olivier Guerot was a reminder of how devastating conflicts can be and how much we can achieve when working together”, EU chief in Kosovo Thomas Szunyog has said.
World War I began on July 28, 1914, and ended on November 11, 1918, leaving millions of people killed.
