European Parliament President Roberta Metsola has declared she supports visa liberalisation for Kosovo.
In a conversation to “N1 Zagreb”, she has said it is “urp that some countries are treated differently from the other”.
It's a shame that some countries are treated differently. I want member institutions and states, especially those countries that have long been in the waiting room, to be allies”, Metsola said, broadcast Klankosova.tv.
Among other things, she also spoke of Serbia's report with Russia, saying talks with Belgrade have been clear about imposing Moscow sanctions for the war in Ukraine.
“Any country that wants to enter the EU must be approached in full with sanctions we have imposed on the most brutal” regime, she said.
Metsola added that “will not stop. We'll respond proportionally until Ukraine wins”.
Speaking of the prospect of countries wanting to join the EU, she said that “Balkan will win a strong” signal.
