European Union High Representative Josep Borrell will meet tomorrow in Paris, the country's Prime Minister Albin Kurti, but Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.
” In an effort to decode and ease the tense situation recently, and advance dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Josep Borrell will meet at separate meetings with Albin Kurti and Aleksandar Vuciq tomorrow in Paris”, confirms EU spokesman Peter Stano.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said that Thursday in Paris there may be a trilateral meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq.
So wrote he on Facebook on November 9th evening, where he announced he would travel to Paris to attend the Peace Forum.
“In addition to works and dinners during this prestigious forum, perhaps there may be a trilateral meeting with the president of Serbia, who has also been invited there. I'll have my six-member team from Prime Minister”, he wrote.
He has reiterated his position that he is interested in agreements for full normalisation of relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, with mutual recognition at the centre.
“I have two proposals on the table: mine for the overall framework of the agreement presented at the August 18th 2022 meeting in Brussels, as well as the Franco-German proposal having the support of the United States of America and the European Union, presented by emissars Jens Plotner and Emmanuel Bonne”, he wrote.
